Alphie Recruiter is an AI recruiting assistant that runs inside a company's own ATS to source, screen, schedule and reply — and gives candidates tools to rate their fit for a role, prepare for the interview and practise it. Here are the straight answers to what people ask most.
For companies
Does Alphie replace our ATS?
No. Alphie runs inside the ATS you already use — your team keeps working exactly where they work today. Nothing is migrated and no data is moved to a new system of record. The integration is built and connected during a short onboarding call.
What exactly does Alphie handle for us?
Four things: sourcing the top five best fits for each open role from your existing candidate pool, running 15-minute voice screening interviews, scheduling interviews with your team, and writing and sending approval and rejection emails. Every hiring decision stays with you.
Which ATS platforms does Alphie work with?
Alphie connects through the ATS's API, so any platform with a documented API can be supported — Greenhouse and Ashby are the two we integrate with most often. If your ATS is not yet supported, the onboarding call is where we scope it.
How is candidate data handled?
Candidate data, including interview recordings and reports, is stored on Alphie's encrypted servers, processed and stored in the EU only, and covered by a signed Data Processing Agreement. It is never visible outside your company and never joins a shared candidate pool. Every API call into your ATS is audit-logged.
How much does Alphie In-House cost?
A one-off setup fee to build and connect the integration, plus a monthly subscription scoped to your hiring volume. There is no per-seat pricing and no listing limit. We scope the number on an intro call once we know your roles.
How long does it take to go live?
The integration is scoped on a 30-minute intro call and built against your ATS instance. Most setups are live within a couple of weeks, and Alphie starts working your existing candidate pool the day it is connected.
For candidates
Is Alphie free for candidates?
Yes. The free plan includes every feature: three Rate My Fit reports, three preparation briefs and one mock interview per month. Candidate Pro is $15 a month and Candidate Elite is $30 a month for higher monthly limits — useful if you are actively job hunting.
What happens when I sign up?
You upload your CV once. Alphie reads it and builds your profile, and every feature runs off that profile from then on — so you never have to re-enter your history for each role you look at.
How does Rate My Fit work?
You paste the job description of a role you are considering. Alphie scores your CV against it, explains where you match and where you fall short, and saves the report so you can compare roles before you decide which ones are worth applying for.
How does AI CV tailoring work without lying on my CV?
Alphie only reorders, rewrites and re-emphasises what is already in your CV to match the role's language. It never invents employers, dates, titles or skills. The output is single-column and ATS-compliant — no photos, icons, headers or footers — so parsers read it correctly.
Is the mock interview an actual conversation?
Yes. Alphie interviews you by voice the way a senior recruiter would, then produces a report on every answer: what worked, what did not, your strengths, what to work on, and the likelihood of hearing back for that kind of role.
Will companies see my Alphie activity?
No. Your fit reports, preparation briefs and mock interviews are yours alone. Nothing you run on the candidate side is shared with a company unless you choose to send them a document you produced with it.
